Libin, Salvinus Enos (2017) The use of technology in teaching methods among music education students of UiTM / Salvinus Enos Libin. [Student Project] (Unpublished)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to discover the ways in which music technology was used by the UiTM's music education student. Furthermore, this study detailed the ways in which music technology was implemented into pedagogic practices for all students and exploring the participants' perceptions and experiences related to music technology. The samples for this study were students from degree program specifically Music Education Programme (MU220) from semester 1 until 8. A total of 50 respondents were involved in this study. The data was collected though distribution of questionnaire using online survey (Google Forms) via link sent through Email and WhatsApp. It can be summarised that music education student is equipped with sufficient facilities and utilities of technology but at the same time, it is not being implemented well in curriculum. The potential of having technology-based teaching and learning in curriculum is there since the perceptions of the student toward technology is positive. In the future, the integration of technology should be implemented by music education student in their teaching for the new generation of student in school.
