Beware of the fake people, they irk
And they are everywhere, at home or work
They smile at you, but behind you they smirk
When you know the truth, you will go berserk.

Beware of the people who call you, “love” or “dear”
It’s just a tactic to use you and to draw you near
They’re all sweet with words good to hear
But after you’ve done what they want, they’ll disappear.

Beware of the people who make you their favorite
Especially at work when nobody thinks you’re treasured
They’ll treat you like a queen bee and you, they’ll never hurt
But you’ll be alone again when you are no longer favored.
