Abstract
Wind is one of the renewable energy besides solar, water and geoterma. By using this renewable energy resources it can produce electricity for uses of human being and it can save electric cost. This kind of energy can be use continuously because it will never depletion. The electricity can be produce by using generator. Generator convert the mechanical energy to electrical energy.
As the world energy crisis increases, the sustainable development strategy of energy becomes a major national energy initiative. Wind energy, a renewable, nonpolluting “green energy”, has become a national alternative energy.
One purpose of wind turbines is to provide pollution-free electric power at a reasonable price in an environmentally sound way. In this focus issue the latest research on the environmental impact of wind farms is presented. It is also shown through life-cycle analysis how wind energy can reduce the atmospheric emission of eight air pollutants. Finally, noise generation and its impact on humans are studied.
