Report on proposed upgrading of Firefly Park administration office and jetty for Firefly Park Sdn Bhd at Jalan Haji Omar, Kampung Bukit Belimbing, Kuala Selangor / Anis Syahirah Mohamad Akbar

This firefly park is a protected area for firefly to inhibit in their nature ways and set aside for human recreation and enjoyment. The purposed of upgrading this firefly park is because of its important to protect this rare fireflies species and conserve their natural habitat. This is because now days, firefly are becoming extinct and firefly would only be found in this kind of ecosystem .Other than that, upon upgrading this Firefly Park, the place will be much more welcoming to the visitor of the park and would also help to attract people to come to the place This park is located away from all the hectic city life in Kampung Bukit Belimbing, Kuala Selangor, making it more special with the nature surrounding, village lifestyle and historical of the place .It is also, the only place in region where you can witness the sight of millions of fireflies flashing in synchrony most frequently and visitor will be taken on a boat ride along the Selangor River where the fireflies inhibit around the branches of "Berembang" trees along the river bank.
