Abstract

The final project of interior design for diploma is the manifestation to students' understanding on process aspects of interior design that has been studied from the basic to presentation level of design proposal. The chosen product for this project is MAKNA headquaters office at No.20, Jalan Gurney, 54100 Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this project is to be to create a new design for MAKNA headquarters office and solve the space limitation and traffic low appropriate to activities in the office. It is also to provide a good design with an inspiration of creating a built environment that leads to function and giving comfort to all interior scheme without forgetting the MAKNA's corporate image and also interior design must identical with MAKNA's image. MAKNA's headquarters office is a place to manage and control all activities and works. This is to mobilizing resource, treatment at cancer institute, preventive, and research in cancer. In running this project, the most important of the MAKNA headquaters office is to make variety of design. The research method for this project is based on observation of office and veterinary through differences of local and international. In conclusion, the new design office that will be run should have the characteristics and client's needs besides the suitable concept to be shown. The design hopefully, will give benefits to all, either local or foreigner.
