Proposed new design sheme for MAC Confinement Baby Care Centre at No 1-1, 2, 3, 4 Jalan Wangsa Delima 13, D’Wangsa Link, Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur / Noor Azayani Alim

The final project of interior design for diploma is the manifestation to student' s understanding on process aspects of interior design that has been studied from the basic to presentation level of design proposal. A day care centre is defined as a care or education centre provided during the day (Cambridge Advanced Learner' s, 2003). Then, the baby care centre is a form of education for young children (between 0-3 years old) which serves as a transition from home to the commencement of more formal schooling. Children are taught to develop basic skills through creative play and social skills. The concept for MAC Baby Care Centre is Curve 'Priorities'. The meaning of 'priorities' is the priorities of human' s sense like touch, hear, see, feel and mind. Well the word 'curve' means the continuous line unshaped where this element will apply into the design. Concept is a guideline in designing a good interior design. This baby care centre design shall be based on the concept to meet the needed requirement and produce a design that may give impact to the customers. Images are very important as a guide in spatial design. The image for this project is Retro Modern, as it may help this centre in creating its own character. In addition, they may expand their business using thus image rather that the existing image which is not welcoming and a bit of out dated. In conclusion, the new baby care centre design for MAC Confinement Baby Care Centre that will be run should have the characteristics and the customers' needs besides a suitable concept. The design is hopefully, to give benefits to the investors as a competitive franchise baby care centre.
