Boat manufacturing in Malaysia nowadays have been shift forward according to the specific needs. Boat manufacturings are no longer using woods as a basic material. The introduction of cheap, lightweight, durable and manageable new material in boat manufacturing in our country that is called 'fiberglass' have change the industry of boat manufacturing in our country. The usage of this material became so popular in our country because of advantages includes:

• Cheaper cost. The price of fiberglass is cheaper than woods that used in conventional boat.
• Durable. Fiberglass boat has a longer life span than other type of boat.
• Saves time. Time taken to produce a boat with fiberglass is less than other type of boat with the same size and length.
• Can be mixed up with other compound.
• Source that easy to find, the domain composition can be found in sand.
• Easy to construct the shape, even though in wet condition. It is stable in low temperature and humid condition.
