Dilapidation survey can be described as being a claim for all breaches of covenant or obligation relating to the physical state of a demised property at the end of the lease. Dilapidation survey is the inspection carry out to record all the conditions of the existing building adjacent to the construction site as a precaution to the contractor and the landlord or tenant of the building. It is important because it can be a protection for the landlord or tenant against claims in many situations.
