Abstract
The construction industry in Malaysia has contributed significantly to the economic growth in Malaysia. Like many other countries, rapid growth of the construction industry in Malaysia comes with problems of fatalities and failures. Safety and Health culture is important to ensure the safety of people in workplace. The title of this research is a study of effectiveness safety plan implement at the engineering tower project in UiTM Shah Alam. The objective of this research is to investigate whether the safety plan is implemented in Engineering Tower Project complies with the minimum requirement set by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and the effectiveness using the safety plan at site. The survey was done by collected information from safety plan, guidelines for public safety and health at construction sites set by the department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA) and the questionnaires distributed to workers on site. The research finding will found out whether the safety plan was implemented at Engineering Tower Project comply with the minimum requirement set by the department of Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA) and whether the safety plan implemented is effective or not.
