Implementation of External Kanban at Autokeen Sdn. Bhd. / Mohd Ariff Akmal Mohd Yusoff

The main objective of this project is to implement the External Kanban at Autokeen Sdn. Bhd. Most of the manufacturer in the world is trying to achieve the world class manufacturer where the world class manufacturer is a benchmark to show that they have the proper system in the factory. One of the world class manufacturer is Toyota where they using the Toyota Production System (TPS). TPS is a technology of comprehensive production management where the purpose is to maintain a continuous flow of products in factories in order to flexibly to demand changes. The realization of such production flow is called Just in Time (JIT) and one of the tools to achieve it is by using the Kanban system. Kanban is a system of continuous supply of components, parts and supplies. This project focused on the previous system that been used and find the way to implement the External Kanban replacing the existing system.
