Abstract
Tasik Chini has been facing many issues regarding the development of the area in the aspects of economic, environment and social-culture. After tourism was brought up in this rural area, it has become a famous tourist attraction that received a big number of tourist arrivals. Unfortunately, the beauty of the historical and mysterious lake was not last for long. After the degradation and deterioration of the lake caused by the weir constructions and iron mining, the lake ecosystem has changed and ended up to lost its authenticity. This research aims to find the solutions and providing the recommendations in overcoming the problems that happen in Tasik Chini regarding the tourism development. The results obtained was analysed to find the correlation of the variables of this study by using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). All of the analysis methods used are the Pearson Correlation, reliability test and single regression to test all the variables and finding the results. The research that was conducted is discovering that the economic dimension has given the most impact on the aborigines’ quality of life. In fact, the whole aspect of tourism development has brought changes in the life of aborigine community and improved their quality of life. The study has finally shows the implications of tourism development towards Tasik Chini which involves the rise in economic, environment and socio-culture of the aborigine community in Tasik Chini, Pahang.
