Abstract
The construction industry around the globe has been improve from years to years. It is mentioned that construction industry is essential for a developing country. Construction Industry also introduce more job application for young generations. However, every construction industry entire nation has facing the same problems, Malaysia was included, which is the issues was the earthworks section in construction process. Earthwork’s progress like excavation, trenching and pipping is where the most chances of risk to be occur, especially in limited space. Since decades, the tools when conducting the earthworks has been invented to reduce the works as well as secure the workers safeties. Thus, the objective for this research is to provide an idea of innovation for current trench machineries to become the solutions of previous problems. This study is conducted by research on literature review from legitimate articles to study the issues of excavating in small space and the performance of different types of heavy machineries that were commonly used for earthworks. Furthermore, by introduce new solution for these issues by proposing innovation of products to reduce the issues from the research studies. The product will be explained in detail thoroughly as to prove to solve the current issues.
