Abstract
When the Prime Minister announced that the country (Malaysia) would go into total lockdown for 14 days, my family, especially my children became a little bit stressed. Children easily feel more isolated, anxious, bored and uncertain. They also may feel fear and grief, over the impact of the virus on their families. In lockdown the days can feel really long and if you have toddlers and kids the days can quickly begin to feel like months! So, what can you do to help maintain your sanity (and theirs!) and make days at home a breeze? As a parent, I introduced children to creative content that will entertain and provide a much-needed escape into the fun and magical worlds of imagination. My son and I both like drawing. As in this artwork, we can see Ahmad play with the white color as a background. White represents how the family lives in peace and harmony. With many schools and workplaces closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, many of us have found ourselves dealing with a new and often very stressful family situation. There’s a yellow color on the left and right as a symbol of happiness and enthusiasm. To keep everyone happy and safe, let's create a learning routine and get some creative lessons.
