Abstract
The whale represents big ideas and ideals inside the dream, it’s still roaming outside the personal space, waiting patiently until it’s welcomed inside. Everyone needs to realize that they need to welcome their dreams, and accept the “whale” inside to be swimming freely and fulfill its role to make us whole. The female dancer represents a persevering persona, one who works hard towards her goals, who aspires to become a better self to invite the whale inside. She’s depicted as resting, tired but full of focus, knowing that she needs to gather her strength back in order to continue her endeavours.
The orange color represents the morning, the time where there are plenty of opportunities to chase dreams and ambitions. There is still plenty of time to contemplate and to plan one’s resolve. The color also represents a will and an effort to become the best. The glass wall represents personal limitations, it hinders yet provides a glimpse of the whale outside. It blocks us yet once we realize our own limitations, we can overcome it and reach out to our dreams and ideals. Sometimes exhaustion drowns us, makes us wanting to give up, but take a break and contemplate then we realize that we have danced / walked so far to be giving up right now. A pause will clear again our focus, and we know now that the burdens are not as heavy as we have thought before.
