A study on the level of awareness among the staff of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) at Putrajaya about hibah / Nur Khaleeda Mohd Zaidi

Recently, we often hear about the issues related to the problems that occurred in the implementation of Islamic inheritance which had led to the unclaimed property and became frozen assets. This situation can give the bad effect to the economy of the country. So, this research paper is based on this problem. The purpose of this research is to study about the level of awareness of the society in Malaysia about Islamic property management which is Hibah. In this study, the researcher had use the data from the primary data, by distributing the questionnaires to the 65 staffs of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia, Putrajaya. Other than that, the researcher also used the secondary data which are journals, articles and electronic resources such as internet and others in finding more information that related to Hibah. After that, the researcher had use the descriptive statistic on the Likert Scale questions to measure the agreement of the respondents on the questions given. While, in identifying the information of the reapondents, the researcher had use frequency analysis to identify the gender, age, marital status, educational level, monthly income, health status and the total assets of the respondents.
