The awareness of waste issue on residential area / Muhamad Afiqazfar Mat Zin

Nowadays, Malaysia facing with population that growing rapidly and facing with various problems on waste management that can effect on environment and human life. The purpose of this study is to get the opinions from public and responsible parties in waste management on area residential at Persiaran Iskandar Perdana (PERAK) and SBJ Putra (KELANTAN). The scopes of study are focusing demographic, opinion of existing problem, habit, and how population and responsible parties make a management and control the generation of waste. The data collection was conducted by preparing questionnaire, interview and make an analysis. From analysis, family size and recycle and re-use material are the major factor that influences waste generation at 6 to 10 garbage bags everyday at research area.
