A study on safety management implementation by G7 contractor in Kelantan / Muhammad Shukri Makhatar

The Malaysia government and other authoritative bodies or institutions have put in substantial amount of effort in the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health in the local construction industry so as to minimize the rate of accidents as well as enhancing a safe and healthy working environment to the workers and the public. However, the effectiveness of these efforts remains uncertain. Therefore, this study conducted to study on safety management implementation by G7 contractor. The aim of this study is to establish the use of safety method of the construction project. Besides that, the objective of this study is to identify the preventive and corrective method safety among contractor used at construction site and to purpose the best practice in safety management for G7 contractors. In this study, by distributed questionnaire, unstructured interview and observation was conducted to find the finding and result. Many people die from injuries and ill-health as a result of working on construction projects than in any other working environment. Therefore, all employers and others have a duty to ensure the safety, health and welfare of their employees as well as people who are not in their employ. The questionnaire and Interview are conducted to obtain opinions of the participants based on their experience to use safety method implementation by contractor that are undertaken in order to reduce the dangers in workplace. Based on this statement, as conclusion with the safety management implementation by G7 contractor in Kelantan overall is use the true method about safety in site construction.
