The effectiveness of using ESL websites on the internet in enhanchin english learning / Wizana Abdullah

Internet is the most popular technology that is useful in education system. The internet benefits a lot of teachers and students especially for those who wants to acquire the second language. There are many options to the teacher to teach their students and the students have many ways to learn second language but the internet is the most important alternative to learn English compared to traditional classroom learning where the students have to use the textbook, blackboard and whiteboard. By using the internet, the students can access the ESL websites which offer a lot of activities that are same like what they learn in classroom. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of using ESL websites on the internet in enhancing English learning among students. The data were collected through a set of questionnaire distributed to 60 form 4 students of 3 selected secondary schools in Pasir Mas district. The data were analyzed using the Microsoft Excel 2007. The results show that the use of ESL websites on the internet is effective in enhancing English learning.
