The planning of Sungai Segget, Johor Bahru as a recreational area / Nor Hafreez Zhufri Nor Hashim

The preparation of this research paper is purposely to solve the passive images of recreational area at Sungai Segget, Johor Bahru which is located at Johor Bahru City Center. The issues that were founded are generally make this recreational area less interesting without any social or recreation activities because of several factors. One of those is lack of shady trees alongside the pathway in this recreational area which mainly causes the visitor to not use this recreational area as their option to visit this city. Instead of that, the non-efficiency of the current facilities and furniture are not well-efficient and effective to the users and community. Therefore, the process of preparing this research paper are beginning with study objectives which to understand the principles and design criteria that suits with Sungai Segget. Furthermore, identifying the issues and problems of this study area are important in order to propose new strategies to solve the problems. The research was also conducted with a survey to create accurate analysis and produce sustainable recommendations based on the feedbacks that have gained.
