Abstract
Teachers’ motivation is one of the influencing factor on the students performance in examination. Therefore, with high level of motivation, it can constitute to the high achievers in school. In this recent years, the teachers are suffered with the emotional exhaustion in dealing with their duties which finally lead to the demotivation among them. Therefore, this study aims to identify the factors that influence the teachers’ motivation. In this study, the proposed factors are divided into two which is internal and external factors. Internal factors comprises of teaching skill, teachers’ knowledge and teachers empowerment, meanwhile the external factors comprises of teachers’ workload, working conditions and students’ behaviour. In addition, this study used quantitative research through the collection of data from 100 respondent from a school in Kulim Kedah. Through the analysis, it is found out that the teachers motivation is significantly influenced by all the factors mentioned above. To illustrate more, the students’ behaviour is seen as the most influential factors in this study.
