Report of building condition assessment / Mohd Wafiq Zainal Abidin

The aim of this report is to study about the how building condition is carried out through an inspection against the building. Building of JKR was choose as a case study to determine about the damage that always happen on the building that is cover all of the elements except structure works. The defect studies based on the finding is to recover and reduce the defect from occur again on the building that will thwart the building functionality. Building is a building built by humans for use as residence, place of work and etc. However, it is impossible that every building had no defect or damage even though only a relatively minor defects such as hairline crack, mossy and etc. All of the defect will be identified and inspector can choose the way how to do a remedial work on the defect occur.
