Factors influencing safety behavior towards Malaysian ARMY in Negeri Sembilan / Adam Zakaria and Norzalina Aniza Abdul Halim

Malaysian Army is the land component of the Malaysian Armed Forces which encompasses by three major branches includes the army, navy and air force. Work Safety Scale (WSS) is dimensions that used in this study to measure safety behavior towards the perceptions of Malaysian Army in Negeri Sembilan. The army is consistently disclosure towards innate perilous situations and there have been expanding in the rate at which an army are executed or harmed during work. In this study, five dimensions that have been examined through safety behavior which are Job Safety, Co-Worker Safety, Supervisor Safety, Management Safety, and Satisfaction of Safety Program. The first purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between serving team and job satisfaction by using chi square test of independence. The outcome shows that there is no association between serving team and job satisfaction. Next, is to determine the WSS dimensions that affect the workplace injuries towards Malaysian Army and to find the most influence of WSS dimensions towards safety behavior were the last purpose of this study. This study used Multiple Linear Regression method to meet two objectives. Based on the result, three out five dimensions are significant and from three significant dimensions, only two dimensions that more influence on safety behavior which are Management Safety and Satisfaction of Safety Program.
