Abstract
Online distance learning has been widely used throughout the country. However, not all students and educators know well about factors that influence academic performance of students. This research aims to rank the factors that influence the students’ academic performance while implementing online distance learning. Specifically, this study can give students and educators an idea of which elements need to be emphasized first in online distance learning. The second objective is to rank the sub-factors within the factors. To achieve both goals, the researcher has chosen to apply the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) to UiTM students' data. The result show that the ranking for the factors affecting students' academic performance are first, access to devices and the internet, second, awareness and insight into the use of computers and the internet, the third is time management, and the four this the environment. Based on the results, it is recommended that future researchers include the new factors as long as time goes by, the factors might differ because of the improvement in technology.
