Abstract
Auti-board is a toy specially created for autism children which will develop their ability especially the sensory and social skills and brain stimulation. Auti-Board is a small briefcase which consist of many items attached inside such as bell, whiteboard, wheel, lamp, keychain, door knob, light switch and door lock. Autism children learn by touching these different items which will trigger their sensory stimuli, allow them to recognize things surround them, reduce level of stress, increase learning process, built confidence and become more independent. What is special about Auti-Board is the briefcase itself have two sided where children can choose any side to play with. Besides that, Auti-Board is portable where they can bring anywhere like inside of car, travelling, and also picnic. Auti-Board is a great developmental tool and in engaging fun toy for children ages 3 to 6 years. They play while learning about world around them. Auti-Board is made of plastic which is safe for autism children and the board is suitable for boys and girls. All items are tightly tied to the board however they need to be watched when they are playing with the board. With Auti-Board the child easily be able to develop not only the fine motor skills of hands, but also coordination, sensory abilities, as well as enrich their tactile sensations. The toys also can increase their Moro Reflex toward their body in term of developing their sense of security, stability and belonging in the world. As the example, we provide artificial grass, carpet that can improve their sensitivity toward some textures.
