Abstract

In any construction, finishing work play the role of impression to the public instead of providing comford and safety. People will conduct the first credit for any structure or building by having a look through the design, types and finishes of building. Thus, the people manage to decide in their mind either the building is attractive or lame.
Apart from that, there are more functions of the finishing works and also act as a vital stages in any building construction which divided into floor finishing,wall finishing and ceiling finishing in order to complete the view and symbolic of the element itself. Meanwhile, brickwall is the common used material that fitted to propose the external wall and plastering and paint as its finishes for construction in Kelantan. Besides that, mostly building in Kelantan has its own symbolic facade in virtue to accomplish “The Islamic Town” by constructing dome shape arch. During the practical period in Kelantan where the site is specifically located in Pekan Rantau Panjang under the Binaraya PKINK company, the construction works are fully done through the structural work since the practical started. What is only left are finishing work and cleaning work. Thus, it is a constraint and limitation to develop the knowledge in construction. By hook or by crook, during the period, the study of architectural finishing work is the topic gained for increasing the knowledge.
