A study of shading devices in providing human comfort at Putrajaya government complexes / Mohamad Huzaini Sabri

Shading devices may come in various forms, but the purpose of this application, whether on the internal or external side, are definitely to control direct sun lighting from penetrating inside the building. Therefore, shading devices design must be able to control the thermal heat of the building thus providing a human comfort to the occupant. Therefore shading devices must to be able to utilize the natural lighting from environment; giving shades to the building as well as controlling the thermal heating. The project focused on the application of shading devices in providing human comfort in office building at Putrajaya Government Complexes. The methodologies adopted for the project include interview, questionnaire and observation. There are five building were selected as case study for this research.
