Abstract
Semai Mekar was established in June 2008. Formerly known as Tabung Haji Plantation but after being acquired by Tamaco Plantation, Sabah, then Tabung Haji was fully owner by Semai Mekar. Semai Mekar consists of two plantation which were at Ladang Semilajau and Ladang Sebauh with 5432.95 hectares. Semai Mekar planted 134 tress in one hectare and 54 tress in one acre. The distance planted for each trees is 30 feets between trees but usually it between 28-30 feets.
