Condition survey assessment based on BCIT software / Siti Nur Zaainfah Udent

Condition survey assessment is a to identify and record any defects or damages that already occurred in the buildings or infrastructures. BCIT software for condition survey based on defect sheet that establish on November 2013. Exactly, there are many advantages that using this software for inspection. For a good example the inspection work can be faster and easier. Nowadays, with advance technology, the building inspection can do with properly and more efficiently. Besides that, BCIT software can save a time, energy and also other resources. The case study that was done at Duta Ria Condominium with the overall building rating in quite good condition. The overall building rating based on five colour that score from one to twenty five. There has forty two types of defect that was recorded. The result and findings of the survey/inspection were then assessed and analyzed using “Building Assessment Rating System (BARIS)” to determine the severity level of the defects.The result of overall building rating Duta Ria condominium will show the condition of the building that can be referred to the JMB of Duta Ria Condominium and other relevant person for the future.
