Abstract

Building pathology is a scientific approach to identify defects in a scientific manner. In a medical context a similar approach and principle can be adopted towards the building fabrics. Concrete is a major material used in building and defects are better identified using a pathological approach. Defects in a building apron vary and needed a specialist to repair the fault. Building apron is a main factor in a building which is essential, eventually its importance are usually being ignored. Building apron is important because of its impact to the aesthetic values and as it shows the value for one building. Faulty or damaged building apron usually happens in many cases, thus this case study will foremost be informative to how cracks happens, discussions, and problem solving in the matter.
