Abstract
Developed area is an indicator to show the growth in economic and social aspects due to the establishment of educational institutions. Furthermore, the program’s improvement is necessary to make sure it is relevant to industry and nation vision are necessary for students. This study is carried out by focusing on two (2) objectives which are: to i) identify the growth of development within 20 years establishment of UiTM Perlis Branch and ii) determine curriculum relevance of PPSUG program. Land-use was extracted for Landsat imagery from the year 1999 to 2019 within 5 to 10 km in radius from the UiTM Perlis branch. The questionnaire has been distributed to determine the feedbacks from alumni and students for program review and relevancy. This study is beneficial for UiTM administration to trace the graduate student career and improve the current curriculum of PPSUG program. It is useful for the local authority for future planning on improvising the opportunity of industry expansion and attracting the investor for plan development surrounding UiTM Perlis Branch.
