Factors that influencing public participation in local government activities in Majlis Perbandaran Sungai Petani (MPSPK) Kedah / Nik Sabirah Ab Azib and Nurul Afifah Abdul Mutalib

This study examine the factors that influencing public participation in the local government activities in Majlis Perbandaran Sungai Petani (MPSPK) Kedah. The purpose of the study is to identify the level of public participation in local government activities. In order to explore the actual dimension of Public Participation practices, data collection will be conduct at Lembah Bujang in Sungai Petani, Kedah which the area is covered by MPSPK. This study will be involve an individual residents in Lembah Bujang sub district. The sampling technique used in this study is Stratified Random Sampling (SRS). Besides, the research design that will be apply is cross sectional design by using the quantitative method.
