Abstract

As a vocal teacher, knowledge of singing techniques and experience with various repertoire suitable for voice students is a crucial aspect of successful teaching of voice. Before giving repertoire to students, voice teachers must do some analysis of the repertoire first to decide on suitability. Data for this study was collected through interviews and sought to gain information on how voice teachers select repertoire to be given to their voice students and how they determine the difficulty levels of the repertoire to be given to their voice students. The result of this study showed variety of perception from many aspects among the-four-voice teachers who participated in the study.
