Malaysia is a dramatically developing country. Within this years, there are many new high-tech technology and infrastructure developed. In order to transform our country into one of the developed country, an increasing in developing pace have been made to make sure the vision of 2020 become true.
As a diploma student in civil engineering from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), we are required to attend and finish the industrial training as the prerequisite in order to finish the diploma. The training is aim to make the students exposes to the real life of the work and at the same time expands their scope of knowledge in their learning programmed.
Theories that have been learned before in classes can be applied to the field thus make the students understand better and see the differences in theories and real life.
This report is to explain about the activities and progresses that had been done by the student throughout the industrial training at Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Muar for 2 months. The department acts as planner, designer, construction of infrastructure projects
such as roads, slopes, public buildings, airports, harbors, jetty and other related engineering assets while taking into account about the maintenances. JKR also have the roles in giving technical advices to the government for the federal, states and areas.
In this report explains in details about the background of the company, organization function, organization objective and the activities that have been done in time of the industrial training.
