Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn Bhd / Nur Farah Aina Norizlanin

Basically, this report is set out to give the full information about my industrial training. Industrial training is one of the compulsory course in UiTM which students need to complete depends on their scope of subjects that they learn. As for Faculty of Civil Engineering, we need to seeking for whether developer, consultant, construction, factory or any company that offers internship regarding our course. This course is set up for students in order to give them experience and gain knowledge in working environment before facing the real working life. Jt will help students in developing their skills to work with other in team and it also a chance to build the discipline as we need to deal with many problems.

Besides, student can learn some soft skills by develop their personality along the industrial training session which are teamwork, communication, management, leadership and etc. Moreover, the industrial training can be a platform for student to
practice their basic knowledge, capability and efficiency to do work. I have been through my industrial training for two months at Damai Abadi (Johor) Facility Management Sdn. Bhd. This company major in maintenance work and there are a few
department within this company which are Civil Department, Mechanical and Electrical Department, Landscape Department, Housekeeping Department and Admin. For civil and m & e department, there are two team under the major department
which are corrective and preventive team. I was assigned to Preventive Maintenance (PM) team.

Furthermore, my experience having an industrial training at Damai Abadi really show me about working condition and attitude in an organization. This training give me a good experience from the view of implementing what I have learnt about civil engineering.
