University Technology MARA Kampus Pasir Gudang (UiTM) offers an Industrial Training Program especially for last year students as a requirement for them to complete their Civil
Engineering course in UiTM . Students will be allocated in a hosted company decided by them in order to gain real life working experience. This report is a story of what I have done for 8 weeks internship at SAJ Ranhill Sdn Bhd, Muar, Johor. Throughout the 8 weeks industrial training, the
student's performance will be fully monitored by industrial supervisor and will be guided by UiTM selected lecturer as their faculty supervisors. This company is led by Mr. Khairil Anuar Bin Shamsuddin as operation manager of network department. The number of workforce in this company is approximately 60 people. The core business of this company is water supply companies, involved in a full cycle of water supply system from raw water sources, processing
and distribution of water to customers in Johor. By applying the core business, SAJ Ranhill Sdn Bhd is divide in three support team to ensure the clean water can be using by customers. There are control room, distribution operation and network operation. Industrial Training Program is conducted with objectives to give opportunities for students to gain their own real life experience
before entering actual working life. The industrial training could be a good starting point for students to gain their knowledge in the field that they want to prepare themselves with the real working life that they will experience soon. Hopefully, this report will be used as a reference for students and lecturers to help them understand the process of water or GIS system.
