Because of that reason, there are a few problems arise such as not enough financial sources of local authorities to bear for infrastructure development projects and facilities to the public. There are many factors affecting the solid waste management improvement. Manpower problem is one of the factors especially in fast developing nations like Malaysia. However this solid waste management still in the process to be fully privatize. Via this semi privatization, the Government of Malaysia will find out whether it is effective or not to fully privatize the solid waste management to Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd. (AFSB) in the future.
