Abstract
The Sabah Rubber lndustry Board (SRIB) has established the Rubber Settlements Schemes (RSS) in Kuala Tomani, Tenom, Sabah on the year 1979. The RSS are opened with total area of 4500 hectare. The objective of establishment of RSS is to provide a permanent and sustainable high income source for landless farmer who practice shift cultivation.
