GPC Integrated Sdn Bhd / Kamal Abd Aziz Kamal Ariffin

Currently I am undergoing Diploma in Civil Engineering at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), campus pasir gudang JOHOR DARUL TAKZIM. I am in my 7th semester and therefore I have to conduct 7 weeks internship training at whatever company that related to Civil Engineering courses. On top of that, I manage to secure my placement at GPC Integrated SDN BHD located at Selangor.
The reason I choose to do my internship locally because I believe that I will gain a lot of experiences which I have yet to explore whether it is related my course or anything that related to real life as an engineer. This internship is a great experience for me to learn and improve as well as to develop new sets of skills. One of my main goals is to apply what I have learned in class to apply it towards industry besides improve my communication skills. Furthermore, I want to be more confident as I am planning to work abroad and meet with variety of people and culture out there. This is why this internship is a big opportunity for me to open up, shape myself and test my skills whether it is a technical or non-technical skill and to learn and adapt with many new things for my inner growth and strength as well as to widen my knowledge and perspective on real working environment.
This report will describe an overview of the types and outcome of work undertaken by me which required for industrial training as one syllabus for Semester 5 Diploma in Civil Engineering. My Industrial Training was conducted for 7 weeks which is started on 18th April 2017 until 11th June 2017.
Apart of that, this report examines my involvements m construction project executed by the company that I work with, GPC Integrated SDN BHD which the main office is located at No. 8-23, Plaza Azalea, Persiaran Bandaraya, Seksyen 14, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
