Abstract

Meat consumption is very important element to people because it is have connection to daily
diet. In addition, meat consumption also can help to increasing the economic growth, which
was confirmed by other studied. In order to test this relationship, this study will use multiple
regression by using panel data during the period of 2010 until 2017 from 20 countries which is
include developed and developing countries. This study will using a few variable; household
final consumption expenditure, inflation, population and meat consumption. In this study, the
multiple regression test confirmed that the all variable have relationship with GDP especially
meat consumption. In this study, it strongly confirm that the meat consumption positively give
impact to economic growth and moves with the economic growth in the long run period.
