Abstract
Recreational planning is about matching the supply of recreation to the demand for it in such a way that the resource is not degraded. The demand not only
contributed people to do any recreation activities, it also must be sustainable in relation with three aspects of sustainability which is social relationship, protecting
environment and generating economic. Recreational planning also supplied to the types of recreational areas that suitable for any activities which is concerns to the demand by users. Some inventory included the ownership, the types of area, size, location, accessibility, management
structure, potential structure and current uses. (Haider, Aeschbacher & Bose, 2010) Recreational planning also focuses on reactive planning and the pattern of strategies based on recreational area included amenities, safety and built environment for people. It developed through the paper identified significant components of sustainable planning for encourage people in active living and
promote healthy lifestyles. (Haider, Aeschbacher & Bose, 2010)
