Legal protection for incest victims: special emphasis on child victims / Muhammad Akhir Suhaimi, Norahimah Shaari and Siti Fatimah Md Kassim.

The objective of the study is to identify problems faced by victims of incest and to discuss on relevant area which might be related to the problem such as matters pertaining to protection centre for incest victims, police role in facing this offence and society's role in curbing incest and helping victims get through this horrible experience. Eventhough incest is not new to our country even to the world, how deep
do people actually know about it and do people actually realize that this problem is far worst then they actually think. That is why this topic was selected as our research topic,
because it might provide us with deeper understanding on the problem thus giving us knowledge to pass on to others. Through this research, it is hope that the actual statistic
on number of incest cases could be found out so that we can see how serious the problem truly is. And that is not the end of it, through this research also, recommendation might be made with regard to problems that might be found through
this research. Therefore it may actually work as a mean to identify sources of the problem and also as mode of recommending solutions to the said problem, which is
incest. This research is going to be conducted mainly through interview and by looking into relevant laws and research done by others, that is how data going to be collected in
this research. All and all, it is hoped that this research could bring benefits even in the slightest possible way because incest is not a problem that can be perceive as regular
problem.
