Abstract
This project is to evaluate the provision principles CPTED in commercial area, Kajang town, Selangor in using GIS . The current selected principles in Kajang town have been analyzed on the site and will be applied on GIS. The project aims to identify toward the principles CPTED, determine the condition of principles CPTED and to purpose and recommend suitable element CPTED in the commercial area. Evaluation CPTED is approach to reduce the opportunities for crime and behavior. Although the project may not review all the evaluations of CPTED on rating
principles on GIS database development. This study area is unusual in that it examines existing commercial areas to see if by happenstance adhere to CPTED principles and, they are less vulnerable to crime. The majority of selected principles CPTED is aimed more at changing the environment, or building it from the ground up to follow CPTED implementation needed. Hence, it is not making modifications to the environment, it is hard to control certain variables. Perhaps the best way to evaluate CPTED is to compare the elements CPTED by rating all selected principles of CPTED
