Abstract
The rapid development in Malaysia in these recent years has shown that more and more skyscrapers or multi-storey buildings being constructed to fulfill the demands on the office space. The association of health and the working environment in fact, becomes a more critical issue compared to previous years and this issue becomes the main focus of this research. The requirements for a healthy office environment in multi storey buildings are what encompassed in this study, in which a comprehensive research is done to determine the necessary requirements to ensure that the health level in the office is optimum. This research is divided into 6 chapters with the introduction of this research features in the first chapter. Chapter 2 features the Literature Review, compiling all relevant information as the background study for this research. A comprehensive study on the health factors in the office environment is what explained in Chapter 3 while Chapter 4 reveals the actual condition on the topic based on case studies done. Subsequent to this is Chapter 5, formulating the findings based on case studies and questionnaires that have been distributed to the selected respondents. Conclusion and recommendations to the research are featured in the last chapter which is Chapter 6.
