Abstract
This study was conducted to research the economical analysis on the transportation mechanization comparison in oil palm plantation. In plantation sector, there are many methods that can be implemented for fresh fruit bunch infield transportation. This study is an effort to analyze the economical efficiency comparison on transportation mechanization in the oil palm plantation on mini tractor grabber and buffalo-drawn cart system. The mechanization will be analyzed based on the relationship between the factors and the oil palm productivity in the oil palm plantation. There are four factors that being studied such as the cost of transportation mechanization, durability of transportation mechanization, yield productivity, and time efficiency. The data was collected by interview the respondent other than collecting the secondary data consist of the monthly yield productivity record. The result show that most of the factors contributes to the oil palm productivity and it will be compare to study which of the mechanization is the most efficient to be use in the plantation. Through the T-test, the comparison can be done and the most efficient transportation can be making out between both of the transportation mechanization.
