InViCCAID 2025: a global stage for expressing creative thoughts

The Faculty of Art and Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah Branch, proudly introduces and conducts the inaugural 1 International Virtual Competition of Creative Arts & Innovative Design in Teaching & Learning (InViCCAID). With the inspiring theme “Great minds discuss ideas,” this pioneering program aims to celebrate creativity and innovation across disciplines, while providing a platform for knowledge sharing and intellectual exchange. The competition was successfully conducted online, starting from the 6 of August 2025 until the time of the winners' announcement on the 26 of August 2025, live via the Facebook Group FSSR Kedah. st th th InViCCAID represents the first initiative of its kind by the Faculty of Art and Design, UiTM Kedah. The competition seeks to bring together scholars, researchers, students, and professionals from diverse backgrounds in the fields of social sciences, technology, and creative design. Through this platform, participants will be able to showcase their inventions, innovations, and designs that reflect originality, critical thinking, and the spirit of creative exploration. As the world embraces the digital era, InViCCAID is designed as a fully online competition, enabling broad participation from both local and international communities. This virtual approach ensures inclusivity, allowing participants to present their projects and creative outputs without geographical barriers. By providing a digital stage, InViCCAID underscores UiTM Kedah’s commitment to advancing innovative, future-oriented, and globally relevant teaching and learning practices. The central theme, “Great minds discuss ideas,” emphasizes the power of creativity as a driver for progress and transformation. It encourages participants to explore new approaches, challenge conventional thinking, and propose solutions that integrate artistic expression with technological advancement. This theme also reflects the Faculty of Art and Design’s mission to nurture talent capable of addressing contemporary issues through the synergy of creativity and innovation.
