Abstract

This internship report is written in order to explain my experience throughout internship at the Anglican Training Institute (ATI) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah during my study in Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Marketing program in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). This report begins by outlining ATI’s history, its vision and mission, the organizational structure of ATI and details of the academic programs and services that are provided to students. There is also a description of programs for students and the roles and responsibilities that an intern can expect to experience in gaining practical experience and knowledge in a variety of administrative work, academic support, marketing and event work, student services and other support areas for programs that are conducted by the institution. The report also includes a SWOT analysis of the Anglican Training Institute. Based on the analysis some recommendations are made to the institution for it to continue improve and to develop in the long run. This internship provided me with the opportunity to apply what I have learned so far in the university. I was also able to develop my skills and work as a more responsible individual in the working place. I also managed to gain insight of how an organization operates and the challenges it faces in order to achieve its objectives. This experience will also be able to aid me in my future career and also in my personal and professional growth.
