Abstract

Virtual workshop series organized in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on User Engineering (i-USEr 2021), a leading regional platform for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Held on September 13, 2021, under the overarching theme “Sustainable UX,” the conference explored user experience design through the lens of sustainability across mobile, web, and everyday digital technologies. To foster knowledge dissemination and skill-building, the program featured three specialized sessions led by international and industry experts: an exploration of unstructured data text representation for human-centered AI by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harco Leslie Hendric Spits Warnars, a practical guide to demystifying the academic peer-review process by Dr. Eddy Siong Choy Chong, and an interactive UX design masterclass integrating the Golden Circle and Business Model Canvas frameworks led by Ts. Haslinda Rasip. Together, these workshops provided researchers, practitioners, and students with critical technical, methodological, and strategic insights to advance contemporary HCI practices.
