Practical training or Industrial Training is a mandatory course for all diploma students of Diploma in Planting Industry Management (DPIM). It is a requirement to fulfil the course in order to complete the diploma as well as graduate from the university. The training refers to work experience that is relevant to professional development prior to graduation. For DPIM students, a 3-months period is allocated for training at locations chosen by students themselves. No restriction is imposed on them whether they want to work in government agencies or private organization.
