Practical training or industrial training is a mandatory course for diploma students of planting industry and management. It is a requirement to fulfil the course in order to complete the diploma as well as graduate from the university. The training refers to work experience that a relevant to professional development prior to graduation. For DPIM student, the 14 weeks period is allocated for training at location chosen by student themselves. No restriction is imposed on them whether they want to work in government agencies or private organization.
