Baby food seasonings “Ali Pow Pow”: flavour explosion for your little ones

Halal industry globally has experienced significant development, especially in the food sector. Brunei as a majority Islamic population country has been one of the players in the halal global market with potential. That also includes the rising demand and awareness of halal baby food globally to be introduced here in Brunei. This study gives an overview of product innovations that are made specifically for infants 6-7 months and above. As babies are not allowed to consume any sodium in their diet for up to 1 year above, we have come up with baby food seasoning which is healthy for infants. Our product containing mirepoix can be one of the alternative seasonings and in fact, they are more nutritious which is in line with the Maqasid Shariah - the protection of health and life. In Brunei, the number of Halal baby food products in the market is limited. Thus, this acts as our unique selling point (USP) to attract customers. In food consumption, the concept of Halalan Thayyiban is specifically designed for Muslims through the revelation of the Quran and the practices of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
